Ms. Thompson is an AEA/SAG actor and model represented by Stars. Theatre is her primary occupation with an emphasis on Shakespeare, but her background also includes oil and acrylic painting, psychology, interior design, architecture, and the study of romantic literature & poetry.

Cat believes in maintaining a good sense of humor, loyalty and temperance.

Ms. Thompson has taught painting for blind children and cerebral paulsied children ages 5-18.

She has instructed, managed, and written curriculum for camps at SF Shakespeare Festival.

At St.John's School in the city, she runs Shakespearience, a year-round Shakespeare program for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. It's leading concentration is on scene study and monologue work, and offers Shakespeare Workshops after school.

For the junior high (which is Cat's main focus), she incorporates other poets' work and utilizes the kids' own musical taste to help demonstrate personalizing poetry and finding the beat of iambic pentameter.

She has taught soliloquy and scene study workshops for Berkeley High School and Marin Academy, and is a teaching artist for Tamalpais and Urban High Schools, and StageWrite at Starr King Elementary School in San Francisco.
